"The Savviest Site on the Web......"
This was one of the most lively debates I have seen in a long time. I know some people may be turned off by the personal attacks, but I for one was glad to see Obama finally stand up for himself. He had begun to lose me in his past debates because he didn't seem as though he was willing to stand up and fight. I may be reconsidering my vote. I am now leaning more so to Obama than Hillary now.
I have to say that the personal attacks really turned me off. I think the only person who really came off looking good in this one is John Edwards. Too bad he's not going win.
Well, I disagree. I fyou have been following the campaigns as closely as I have then you will realize that Obama had no choice but to try and defend his positions. There are a lot of untruths going out about him and he needs to shed light on it and reveal what is fact and what is fiction. So you may see it as bickering or personal attacks, but I see it as politics.
My favorite part of the debate was when Obama said "He didn't know who he was running against" in reference to Bill and Hillary or shall I say Billary.
I think this was a great debate. It cleared up a lot of untruths about Obama and finally we got to see that Obama has a little fight in him. He was taking it on both sides tonight, but he proved that he can dish it out also. This is important if he hopes to go up against the Republican slime machine in Fall.
I for one really enjoyed the debate. I think the Democrats have a great group of candidates unlike the Republican side. I wish more people i.e. MSM (mainstream media) would focus on the fact that in the Republican side it is business as usual as far as their candidates are concerned.
I am really convinced that Barack will be our next president. During the debate last night he came off as a major “weapon of mass destruction.” I am very proud of him and the way he set Hillary straight about the lies she has been telling on him. I know Saturday's primary in South Carolina will be a victory for him. Conversely Hillary came across as an angry menopausal woman. This type of behavior definitely will not be fitting for the president of the free world. She is sadly uncontrollable and angry at the fact that she really has someone who is more equipped for the job than she is. I personally am looking forward to the inauguration in January 2009 where Obama will be the president of the free world. I predict John Edwards will be his Vice President.
