So, the much anticipated return of 'The Game' happened last night.  I'm definitely having mixed feelings about the show.  I realized they wanted to go the way of the drama more so than comedy, but I really miss the comedy.  I don't want to give too much away because I know some people probably haven't watched the show yet so instead I'll just ask you all how you feel about the season premiere of 'The Game'.

  1. I was going to talk about the "The Game" being a bit to serious, until I stayed on BET and watched "Let's Stay Together" that show was a disgrace to original programming,it was Sooo not funny and was ridiculously silly (a typical BET type show), that I appreciated the "The Game" not being funny. I enjoyed the show. I hope it continues to grow within itself.

  2. I felt that the game was "all over the place." Way toooo much going on, and a little risque. I must say, I much prefer the dialogue from last season. Terrence J. was not credible as Tasha's lover and, what ever happened to R. Fox, as he and Tasha Mack made a very credible couple.

  3. I must admit I didn't watch 'Let's Stay Together' nor did I have any desire to watch it after looking at some of the comments on Facebook. I will say, however, that I was very disappointed by the seriousness of 'The Game'. Where was the comic relief? And why in the world would they break up my favorite couple: Malik and TeeTee? Those two always delivered on the punchlines. And on what parallel universe would Tasha Mack be afraid of Kelly Pitts? No one on the show is likable any more. And please tell me why Tasha and Malik were in the same club together and they didn't even interact? Come on man! I'm going to give it a couple more episodes, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed.

  4. Where was the funny? The laugh track seem to only come in at the most odd times. Malik is usually arrogant but they made him a Arrogant SOB for some reason. It was all over the place and I think it may have been trying to fill the hour format. I hope it sticks to the half hour and hopefully find it's groove after being off for two years. Overall I am glad it is back on the air and I will continue to support it and hope it gets better.

  5. There seemed to be a disconnect somewhere. They've changed Kelly's character into some shallow ex. Malik's character is much worse. They are pushing the envelope as for risque behavior. I hope it gets better. We shall see.

As for the 2nd show, I only watched a portion, because it looks like it won't survive. Not funny, no chemistry with the actors, and just silliness.
