Sports behemoth, Nike, has re-signed Michael Vick to an endorsement contract four years after dropping him as a spokesman.

Here is what a Nike spokesman had to say about the re-signing:

“Michael acknowledges his past mistakes,” Nike said in a statement. “We do not condone those actions, but we support the positive changes he has made to better himself off the field.”

Of course this announcement was met with some resistance. A Facebook campaign to boycott Nike has begun and at the print of this post currently has a little over 5,000 likes.

Personally, I have absolutely no problem with Nike re-signing Vick. The man has serve his time and should be allowed to reintegrate back into society and make his money.
