Not since the O.J. Simpson trial has the country been so enthralled by a court case. Now it would appear that Nancy Grace's head will officially explode since 'Tot Mom' Casey Anthony has been found 'Not Guilty' of capital murder for the death of her two year old daughter Caylee. It's so unbelievable. Admittedly, I didn't think they had enough evidence to convict her of capital muder but damn at least give me Manslaughter. Hell, Scott Peterson got convicted on circumstantial evidence alone.

I just don't get it. The jury of 7 women and 5 men in Orlando did find the 25-year-old Anthony guilty of giving false information to a law enforcement in connection with the case and that was it. The jurors returned the verdict after more than 10 hours of deliberation. I just don't get it.

Black mothers get put in jail for trying to send their kids to a better school and this chick walks. I don't get it. Her child was missing for over 30 days and she was out clubbing and getting tattoos and yet she is 'Not Guilty'. Boy, I'm just baffled by all of it right now.

I just want to know whether or not people are going to hound her like they did O.J. Simpson? I say if they try to make a movie or write a book about her, people should boycott it. She shouldn't be on any television shows either. I don't give a damn about anything she has to say. In the end, she will have to give an account for what she did. I'm a firm believer in so as you soweth so too shall you reapeth.

I'm sad that little girl is not receiving justice. Maybe if she was a dog, the justice system would have worked in her favor i.e. Michael Vick. Human beings don't seem to get as much respect.

  1. O.J. Simpson ain't got nothing on Ms. Casey. Well I guess we are even now. We bucked the system with O.J. They just did it with Casey. LOL....

  2. I'm not surprised that they couldn't prove it "beyond a reasonable doubt." They didn't even have a clear cause of death. I do believe she knows more and had a hand in it somehow. But you can't convict someone of murder if you don't know conclusively how the person died.

I know the media painted a guilty image of Casey. I've never been on a jury but I tend to think that they have a completely different viewpoint of the evidence, when we the viewer have things filtered through a sensational media.

I think what made this case so compelling was the fact that the mother found the car and told the police that it smelled like a dead body had been in the car. So a mother plants the seed that perhaps her own daughter is guilty. I personally don't understand the fascination with the story. With OJ, it was because he was OJ Simpson, Hall of Fame football player. I tried my best not to follow this case.

In the end, I'm not surprised by the verdict. I don't think she's innocent. But if I were a juror, I don't know that I would've been able to say conclusively that she was guilty as charged.
