Red Tails is arguably one of the most anticipated films in the early film season. Building on a marvelous marketing campaign, the people behind the film has released a seven minute movie trailer about the film.

The film, which is scheduled to be released on January 20th, will definitely carry on it's shoulders a lot of pressure for the future of films starring a predominately black cast.

After producer, George Lucas, made the televisions rounds talking about how difficult it was to get a Hollywood studio to get on broad with the film; all eyes will definitely be on how the film performs on the opening week.

This is definitely one of those films you should not get bootlegged at your local beauty salon or barbershop. Make sure you go on the opening weekend and make sure your ticket stub says 'Red Tails'.

We're always complaining that we want to see good quality films made about African Americans but yet when those films come out we don't support them i.e. Akeelah and the Bee and The Great Debaters.

This is gut check time for all of the internet critics of black films.
