It's that experience that is shared by most African Americans, but it's one that we rarely speak about outside of our community. Several prominent, black NBC correspondents sat down to discuss their own experiences with racism in light of the Trayvon Martin tragedy.

Some of the notables that were interviewed were Tony Dungy, Lester Holt, Tamron Hall, and Toure'.
