Beyonce has received the coveted title of 'World's Most Beautiful Woman' by People magazine.  The new mom has appeared on the list countless times, but this is the first time she's made the cover.

Beyonce also opens up about being a new mother to baby, Blue Ivy.

"I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've given birth," says PEOPLE's 2012 World's Most Beautiful Woman. "I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth."

"She's just the cutest thing," gushes Beyoncé, who croons one-of-a-kind tunes to her daughter and professes to "love" changing diapers.

So who does her daughter most resemble? "She looks like Blue," says Beyoncé, who is back to her pre-pregnancy weight and gearing up for her first post-baby concerts, Memorial Day weekend at the Revel Atlantic City. "She's her own person."

"The best thing about having a daughter is having a true legacy," she adds. "The word 'love' means something completely different now."

  1. I know people are going to hate so let me jump in here and spread love real fast, I am really happy about this a) because they just don't celebrate our beauty enough and b) BECAUSE THIS IS A VICTORY FOR CURVY GIRLS ALLL OVER THE WORLD!!! oh yeah all the curvy ladies put your hands up, all the curvy ladies... LOL... no seriously, I admired how she stuck to her guns about the fact that she had curves when the media tried to shame her for it... we need to be healthy, I take great pride in the fact that I can run 12.5 miles a week but not everyone is meant to be a size 2 and I love that she isn't.
That said, People magazine, I want to talk to you about some other Black women that need to also make this cover...
