I may not be a huge fan of Juanita Bynum, but at least I can admit the woman is very transparent when it comes to her life.  Unlike other members of the clergy, Bynum is not afraid to share things from her past nor does she walk around with a holier than thou attitude.  So it doesn't come as a surprise that she would admit that she had affairs involving women.

I'm sure there are some who wish to sensationalize this, but honestly it doesn't come as much of a surprise.  Rumors have been swirling for years regarding Bynum’s sexuality, but somehow she’s managed to stay quite about the situation until now.

Bynum made a rare appearance on the Frank and Wanda Show on Atlanta’s V-103 radio station.  During the visit, she gave her testimony in which she admitted to having relations with women.

Of course the fact that she’d been with women didn’t go over well with some in the faithful.  Many people took to Twitter to criticize the high profile motivational speaker prompting her to send out a response of her own on the social media site:

“If my life’s testimony offends you then good. Now you can go serve Christ for real because he will never disappoint you ever!!!Testimony is what you get after something has been put to death, Maybe that’s why we don’t see a lot of them. You got to kill it to tell it. A real Christian is not ashamed of the gospel nor what the Gospel has done and will do!! Remember that!!!”

  1. I really don't know why people want to make a bigger thing out of a big thing lessened. When someone honestly admits that they've done something they deem to be wrong and their motive for saying so is right, there should be forgiveness, understanding and love because the person has chosen to break down what was once a big thing. We'll never know WHY people do certain things but I believe respect is due when it's openly dealt with.

  2. To each his own. My past is between God and myself.

  3. Sin is sin. One is not greater than the other. If one has repented and asked for forgiveness no matter what it is, God is faithful and just to forgive. The word says, He (God) places our sins in the sea of forgetfulness. But some of us invest in scuba diving equipment to go scuba diving to bring up what GOD no longer remembers. Carry on with your new life PROPHETESS. I am yet praying for you.
