Stacy Littlejohn, the creator and executive producer of VH1's 'Single Ladies', has announced she will be leaving the show in which she served as the head writer.

Now I will admit I have been one of the biggest critics of the show.  Although I enjoy seeing women of color represented on television, I have to admit that the writing and acting on the show has definitly been lacking.

It's my opinion that the writing may improve tenfold on the show with the departure of Littlejohn, but that still won't change the acting ability of the 'actors' that are on the show.  I know that maybe a little harsh, but it's the truth.

The premise of the show is a really good one, but the acting and writing doesn't live up to what the show can be.

I wish Littlejohn good luck in her next venture.  It's wonderful to see a sista doing her thing.  I just hope her next venture has the actors and writing to live up to her creative ability.
