Despite Citizen's United, the voter suppression attempts, racial overtones, and outrageousness that is Donald Trump, President Barack Obama was re-elected President of the United States of America.

For me this is even sweeter than 2008 because I feel that back then people were riding the history wave. But with this victory, people were really voting for the man.

As soon as the announcement was made, I turned to Fox News (it took me a while to find the channel since i never watch it) to get their response and the first thing person I saw was Karl Rove trying to delegitimize the win. It was actually quite entertaining.

This election wasn't as close as people projected it to be as far as the electoral college was concerned.

I just want to say God Bless our President and God Bless these United States of America.

Now let me go back to watching the comedy that is Fox News.

  1. This was definitely sweeter. It means that his initial election was not a fluke. The First Lady seems to think so. She was hype. Her tone on the campaign this time was so resolute. Not that it wasn't the first time, but it was clear that she fighting for what she knew was right. Anyway, she seemed to be so excited. Picking up and tossing confetti. Loved watching it!
