If you thought the Republicans were getting over their trouncing during the November 6th election you are sadly mistaken.  Just check out what a Kentucky high school teacher wrote on her classroom's whiteboard after the election: "You Can't Be a Democrat and Go to Heaven."

Now what gets me is the fact that the report says that the teacher knew writing it on the board was wrong but yet she chose to do it anyway.

I don't even know what to say so I'll just let you read the report for yourself and draw your own conclusion.

A Kentucky teacher is accused of ridiculing a student whose political views she didn’t agree with, scrawling “You can’t be a democrat and go to heaven” on the whiteboard.

South Laurel High School psychology teacher Kendra Baker railed against same-sex marriage and Obamacare even after one student in the class, 17-year-old Chelsea Gilbert, says she asked her to stop.

“I feel like she was bullied by a teacher,” Chelsea’s mother Mary Gilbert told Lex 18 News.

Chelsea, a senior at the school and an Obama supporter, told the teacher she was offending people, her mom told Kentucky.com.

Baker reportedly retaliated by telling the teen she would one day have to watch her parents die because of Obama’s healthcare law.

The teacher, who later apologized, was reprimanded for the Nov. 13 incident but not fired.

“She realizes it’s inappropriate,” Laurel County Superintendent Doug Bennett told Kentucky.com.

Baker’s actions violated school policy but the issue has been addressed, Bennett said.

Unsatisfied with the district’s response, Mary Gilbert filed a complaint against Baker with the state’s Education Professional Standards Board.

Her daughter is currently being home-schooled.
