After years of accusations, former professional cyclist Lance Armstrong will sit down for his first no-holds-barred interview with Oprah Winfrey at his home in Austin, Texas.
During this special 90-minute episode of Oprah's Next Chapter, which will air January 17 at 9/8c on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, Armstrong will address the alleged doping scandal and charges of lying about the use of performance-enhancing drugs throughout his cycling career. The interview will be simultaneously streamed live worldwide on Oprah.com.
Armstrong, a seven-time Tour de France winner, has remained silent since he was stripped of his titles and dropped from millions of dollars in endorsement deals after the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency released an extensive report accusing him of doping throughout his career.
Armstrong was given a lifetime ban on competing professionally.

I'm willing to bet that all this success Oprah is having with her network is killing all her haters.
The 'Queen of All Media' has done it again. She has managed to score an interviewing coup by being the first to nab an interview with disgraced Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong.
Here is what is being reported:
Despite not having her number one talk show, Winfrey continues to snag some of the most coveted interviews [take that Barbara Walters...LOL!].
There has been many that have predicted the fall of Ms. Winfrey, but yet she continues to defy the odds. She may have stumbled out the gate at the genesis of OWN, but it looks like she is back to her winning ways.
