The song Nightshift was an 80s hit for the Commodores after Lionel Richie left the group even winning a Grammy in 1985. The song was originally wrote in tribute to Marvin Gaye and Jackie Wilson both whom died prematurely in 1984.
Nightshift = Heaven
I remember loving this song when I was kid. We had a radio station in GA and when the late night deejay would come on he always started his show with this song. It's one of my favorite childhood memories.
Be a part of history by becoming a dot in the largest Michael Jackson tribute in the world. David Ilan is the artist who is drawing the portrait. He is an internationally recognized pointillism artist, which means he draws using only dots. Every single hand-drawn dot David places on his canvas represents a real person. Every Michael Jackson fan is able to get a free hand-drawn dot added to the portrait in their name.At least one million fans will be needed to complete the drawing, so it’s important to spread the word!
